A touch of Class – Horse and Carriage
Beautiful horses and gorgeous carriages. The owners are lovely people too and wish to give you a lovely (and dare I say it) romantic experience on your wedding day. At the wedding we came across them at, they had two stunning rigs going – one for the bride and dad and the other for all the bridesmaids. It looked wonderful.

Live Band:
FastLane
A five piece band who really do-be-doo get people on the dance floor. They seem to be able to play an endless number and variety of songs. We actually photographed the guitarist and singer’s (Paul and Sophie’s) wedding in April and fully expected them to be average for no good reason really other than the fact I used to be a muso snob once in my younger days! Sophie has a killer voice and enthusiasm to die for. Hubby Paul and the rest of those Robert Plant look-alikes on the other hand, play like your grannie wouldn’t understand. Seriously though, they attempt to tailor make the set for you, have great ideas, don’t play deafeningly loud - if you don’t want - and will probably try and talk you out of having Every Breath You Take as your first dance number (have you ever actually listened to the words?!!)

Harpist:
Claire Dibble is just wonderful at adding that beautiful and classic background to your wedding. She has taught the harp for a number of years so she is a master of this beast of an instrument. She really excels at finding the right music for you. Adapt at packing up quickly when it rains and re locating to the indoors in a matter of seconds, you should call this lady if you are requiring that extra touch of sophistication to your wedding.

Discos:
Regency Entertainment.
Photographed a wedding recently where they featured twice in the day. When the bride walked down the isle where they played subtle music that matched the occasion. Then obviously, as the main disco at the end of the night where they had the quests on the dance floor within 5 minutes flat. Not only that, Alan and David had the unenviable task of sequencing authentic Bangledeshi hindu music along with some of the more standard floor fillers that you or I would know. Grrreeeaattt! Absolutely lovely friendly blokes who look good (i.e. . they wash , shave and are under 23 stone) and want to plan with you and play the music that you would like for your end of night bash.

I met the people who own this company at a wedding Fayre recently and they really are big kids with very dangerous toys. I saw some fantastic video footage of some of their shows. They put their hearts and souls into it travelling all over the Uk doing shows for weddings. They can put on a basic show for about £600.00 which they inform me other companies would charge double for, but if you have £900.00 to spend…. then strap yourself to your chair and get those sun glasses on!

I met Annabel at a wedding Fayre in 2006 and was really impressed by her beautiful and original designs. She said she started the company when she realised there was a real shortage of stylish, classic stationary available for weddings, when she was looking for her own wedding a few years ago. She completely avoids tack and designs very much like those hand made cards you see in Paperchase. Very nice!!
